What surfaces does it actually climb?
Smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces — painted plasterboard walls, glass, doors, tiles, fridges and whiteboards. It won't hold on brick, heavy texture, wallpaper with a deep pattern, or anything dusty. Switch it to floor mode and it drives normally on any surface.
How does it stick to the wall?
A fan inside creates suction that holds the car against the surface while the wheels drive it along. There's nothing sticky or magnetic, so it leaves no marks and nothing to replace.
How long does a charge last?
Roughly 20 minutes of driving from a full charge, which takes about an hour over the included USB cable. The remote runs on 2 AA batteries, which aren't included in the box.
What age is it suitable for?
It's designed for ages 6 and up. Younger kids tend to love watching it but find the wall controls fiddly, so it's best with an adult driving the first few runs.
